Vila Sônia Station: Overview
Vila Sônia station opened on 17 December 2021, becoming the new western terminus of Line 4 (Yellow). It is a modern underground station, with a bus terminal, lifts and platform screen doors.
Its opening extended the metro’s reach in the West Zone and improved connections with the Metropolitan Region, especially with Taboão da Serra.

For now, the station marks the end of the line’s western section, but the project envisages a future connection with new regional transport services.
