Line 4 (Yellow) runs from Luz station to Vila Sônia station, with 11 stations over 12.8 km. It opened on 25 May 2010, between Faria Lima and Paulista, and stands out for its driverless trains. It was the first line in the São Paulo network to be run by a private company.
Vila Sônia station, the terminus, opened on 17 December 2021. The line is run by the concessionaire ViaQuatro, part of the Motiva group (formerly CCR), under a 30-year concession. It was originally called the South-East-South-West Line.
