Guarulhos-Cecap station opened on 31 March 2018, together with Line 13 (Jade), the first line entirely built and operated by CPTM. It is a modern station and fully step-free.
It serves the populous city of Guarulhos and acts as an intermediate link towards the International Airport.

It marked the arrival of the metropolitan train in Guarulhos, a city that until then was not directly served by CPTM.
